The 5k course (3.1 miles) is out-and-back and begins and ends in front of the Ford Buildings. The scenic course winds through the beautiful main campus of Berry College. Fun for the whole family! 5K begins at the Ford Buildings and winds past Hermann Hall and the log cabins. The route follows Lavender Mountain Road and cuts over to the Viking Trail before returning to the Ford Buildings. First time runners and walkers are welcome.

The 5K race starts at 8:20 a.m. The starting line is located in front of the Ford Buildings at Berry College.

The 5K course has 2 Aid stations, which will have water and Powerade.
Packet Pickup \\\
A race wouldn’t be complete without a goodie bag! Packet pickup will be held in the Krannert Ballroom at Berry College from 12:30pm – 5:30pm the day before the race and from 6 – 7:30am the day of the race.
All 5K runners will receive an 50/50 short sleeve T-shirt and post-race refreshments.
Course Safety \\\
The 5K course will be open for 2 hours. For everyone’s safety, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. Violators will be removed from the course and transported to the finish line area. Unfortunately do to safety concerns, we are not able to accommodate wheelchair athletes at this time.
Awards \\\
5K Awards will start at 9:45 a.m. at the Awards Stage near the finish line. Awards for Male and Female categories: 1st Place Overall, Masters (40 & over), Grandmasters (50 & over); 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over).
