The Berry Half Marathon / 10K / 5K will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made race day at the race site. The event will not be canceled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will be made on site, race day. All entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred toward a future event.
Registration for the Half Marathon includes a *moisture management commemorative shirt, *race bag, race bib, and a commemorative finishers medal.
Registration for the 10k / 5k includes a 50 /50 *commemorative shirt, *race bag, and race bib.
*To be guaranteed a shirt register by February 18. After Feb 18, remaining shirts will be first come first serve until they are sold out. Any unclaimed shirts after the race will be available at the finish line as a first come first serve.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email that will serve as your only confirmation of registration. To receive another registration confirmation, please log into runsignup.com here, and check your current orders.
You must be at least 9 years old to participate in the Half Marathon.
For the 10k / 5K you must be at least 5 years old.
Entry fees for the Berry Half Marathon / 10K / 5K are non-refundable.
Unfortunately, all races are non-transferrable from one participant to another.
In order to pick up another participant’s packet, you must bring either a printed copy or email on a mobile device of their registration confirmation AND a signed copy of the Release & Indemnity Agreement if it was not signed during the online registration. If you are under 18, your Release & Indemnity Agreement must be signed by your legal guardian. No exceptions.
You must pick up your race packet at packet pickup the day before the race or on race day in the Spruill Ballroom in the Krannert Center at Berry College.
Unfortunately, we are unable to mail race packets and race shirts.
Yes. Packet pickup is available the day for the race in the Spruill Ballroom in the Krannert Center at Berry College. Packet Pickup will open at 6am the day of the morning of the race. Packet Pickup for the Half Marathon / 10K will close at 7:45 am to ensure all runners get to the starting line on time. Packet Pickup for the 5K race will close at 8:15 to ensure all runners get to the starting line on time.
To pick up your race packet, you must bring a photo ID or your event ticket with your QR code. If you did not complete the waiver during on line registration we will need you to sign a race waiver in order to participate. If the participant is under 18 years old, the waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
RunBerry apparel will be available at packet pickup the day before the race, as well as, at the finish line the day of the race. If you purchased any RunBerry items one month prior to the race we will have your merchandise at the RunBerry table.
Packet pickup runs from 12:30pm – 5:30pm the day before the race and from 6 – 7:30am the day of the race.
The event will be held despite rain, wind, sleet, or heat. However, we do retain the right to cancel, shorten, or alter the race or course due to weather, other acts of God, or for any other reasons within or without our control. All entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred toward a future event.
Parking will be available on campus race day.
Yes, there is a 4 hour time limit (18-minute per mile pace) for the half marathon. Your time starts when you cross the start line timing mat and your B-tag is activated. We suggest that you train for a 16 minute per mile pace to allow time for restroom breaks, water breaks, etc.
Absolutely. Walkers are welcome on the half marathon course as long as you meet the course time limit of 4 hours (18 minutes per mile).
Headphones can be worn but are discouraged in the case that race officials / volunteers need to relay messages concerning safety on the race course.
You will receive a plastic bag at Packet Pick-Up, please use this bag for the bag check service. We will not accept any other type of bag. You will also receive a bag check sticker at Packet Pick-Up. Please attach the sticker with your race bib number on it to the plastic bag prior to arriving at Bag Check. Once you finish, your race number will be used to verify your bag when you pick it up. Any bags not picked up by the end of the race will be taken to Berry College Elementary & Middle School. We will hold the bags one week before we donate the items in them to our local habitat for humanity. Please do not check any valuable items. The Event Staff is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
We have 6 water / Powerade stations located along the half marathon course. Along with 3 stations with energy gels. At the conclusion of the race, participants will have access to bottled water, Powerade, fruit, and various other food items in the refreshment tent.
Yes, the Half Marathon along with the 10K and the 5K courses are certified by USA Track & Field.
Runners race results for the Half Marathon will include splits for the 10K. Your overall gun and net time will also be provided.
You will be able to view your Half Marathon / 10K / 5K results on the Results page of our site. We will post results online within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race.
Due to the lack of demand, we no longer will have a race photographer to capture our event.
Yes, top finisher awards for the Half Marathon / 10K / 5K will be presented at the awards ceremony. Age group awards will also be presented prior to the top finisher awards for each race. Please see our Awards page for more information on awards and the awards ceremony.
Many things are not allowed on the race course. Here is a small list of things not allowed on the course: runners going backward, runners not wearing a race number, animals, bicycles, baby joggers, strollers, roller skates, roller blades, hand-crank chairs, wheeled vehicles and push-rim wheelchairs.
Kids Fun Run
Registration for the fun run will open at 9am on the day of the race and will be located in the Clara Bowl adjacent to the start / finish line of the half marathon / 10K / 5K.
The kids fun run consists of two laps in the Clara Bowl adding up to one mile.
Registration for the kids fun run does not include a race t-shirt. However we will have a limited number of t-shirts available at the fun run registration for purchase.
Yes. Children who participate in the fun run will receive a finisher medal as well as a goodie bag from our sponsors of the fun run.
The fun run is not a timed event and is to promote an active lifestyle for young children.
